Assessment
80% of the marks available for this module are awarded for performance in the end of semester examination. The examination takes place in the spring, and will last for 90 minutes. It will cover all material delivered in CS1113 lectures and covered in CS1113 problem classes. It assumes familiarity with all material delivered in CS1112.

The combined class tests contribute up to 20% of the total marks available for the module.
The first class test will be held on Monday 2nd March, at 2pm in WGB 107. The results of the class test will contribute up to 10% of the total marks for the module (The module as a whole is marked out 100, so if you get full marks on the test, you will carry forward 10 marks towards your final total; if you get half marks on the test, you will carry forward 5 marks towards your final total.) The first class test will include questions on predicate logic and quantifiers.
The second class test will be held on Wednesday 1st April, at 3pm in WGB 107. The results of the class test will contribute up to 10% of the total marks for the module The second class test will include questions on graphs, trees, algorithms and analysis.
